Main Street Beautification

Facade Loan Application for Businesses that are beautifying the exterior of the commercial facade. Funding comes from a grant from the NC Department of Commerce.

Approximately $40,000 is available to be spent as matching funds in allotments of $6,500 to approved businesses in Pollocksville by December 2021.

Infrastructure

NCDOT is expected to refinish Main Street, but the timeline is uncertain. Main Street will have bike lanes, on-street parking, and cement "bulb-outs".

The bulbouts will have light poles, Town banners, and plantings as designed and provided in-kind by Coastal Dynamics Design Lab with funding from NC Community Foundation.
