The Town of Pollocksville is required by the NC Department of Environmental Quality to adopt a Policy and Ordinance regarding a Cross Connection Plan. The Board of Commissioners will host a Public Hearing on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at the Town Hall, 9026 Hwy 17 South, Pollocksville in order to receive public comment.

Cross Connections are a hazard to the Public Water Supply, because they introduce a risk of backflow. This policy will begin the inspection of back flow preventors at Cross Connections. Review the Policy here:  Cross Connection Town Policy 2021.pdf
